today is my 5th anniversary. in 2001, only 11 days after the infamous september 11th, i woke up and put on the fanciest clothing i've ever come close to touching and donned the coolest tuxedo jacket (a 3/4 length wool jacket) in the world, and sat behind the wheel of a PT Cruiser and went off to marry my best friend in the whole world.
she was beautiful, i actually couldn't watch her walk down the aisle because a piece of dust flew into my eye and the light reflected off of a window at the ssame time and caused a tear to form in my normally dry eyes... yes, that's it... and my best friend walked toward me, her father presented her to me, and on that day i took her as my wife, and she took me as her husband. and i'm still around!!!
and today she has given me the best gift in the world, her presence, her comfort, her touch, and not to mention she's kinda cute too. thank you my love for the first 5 years of our life together, i look forward to many more and the stories that they contain.

I think some dust flew into my eye while I read that. (Funny that Jenn and I thought to write the same thing). Congrats to you both, you are very lucky to be blessed with such a wonderful life together!
