i know this is kinda bragging, but whatever, he's my kid, i'm allowed. i've had the privilege of being kissed by my son. not only that, but i was kissed by him before jenn was. i know its not a competition and all, but its a big deal to me. when grayson and i are playing together, he'll get a little cranky and make his way over to his mom, or he'll just plain ignore me, looking for mom's attention. i understand it, she spends all day with him while i'm at work, and please understand, i'm not bitter about this - it's just what it is, and my turn will come when he wants to spend all his time with me and none with his mom.
but i think its great that i motioned to him just before i was about to leave to lead a bible study tonight for a kiss, and he opened his mouth in a 'i'm gonna swallow your face/look at my fish mouth' kind of a way, and gave me a slobbery smack just below my nose. and then he did it a second time when i tried to see if it was a fluke - it wasn't.
so that's my big story for today. things are busy right now, and there's a lot of stuff coming down the pipe. when its appropriate i'll share what that stuff looks like, there's a few details that have to be ironed out. but for now, in the words of my very cool (cool = geeky) friend - l8r.

That's awesome Jeremy!! So which was his first word mama or dadda first? Just remember being a boy and all soon it will be all about trips with DAD and playing catch with DAD stuff moms suck at...you'll get your turn soon enough. Kady doesnt usually cuddle much but she layed her head on my chest the other night and nestled in...it's the greatest feeling isnt it?
